![]() ![]() Buzzard is a bit stronger against bullets and not as delicate when landing. ![]() So it's good on that front to own both the Sparrow and the Buzzard. So if I'm doing something and my Sparrow gets destroyed, I can call in my Buzzard, have it spawn next to me, and off I go. This helps a lot if one vehicle gets destroyed as you don't have to wait for the cool down timer. With a Oppressor MKII or even a Deluxo, that'd make 3 aircraft. I haven't used it in a while, but I think the Personal Aircraft uses a Pegasus like spawning system.īut still between both the CEO Buzzard and Kosaka Sparrow, you'll always have 2 aircraft on hand you can call in that'll spawn right beside you. Although I would say the Oppressor MKII is probably a better personal vehicle as it spawns right next to you like the CEO Buzzard and Kosaka Sparrow. When you own a Buzzard you can call in one from the CEO menu for free, you can also make one a personal vehicle if you own a hangar by simple spawning one in from Pegasus and flying it into your hangar. So I would only get a Buzzard if it's tougher but then there are other chopper options right? Which chopper have a good defense/speed ratio? A couple times the traffic got spooked from gun shots and started ramming the Sparrow causing me to just return it to storage as it was un-flyable. Also I make sure not to land it on roads with traffic. Just a few shots have it smoking and you pray you can make it to the destination without bailing. Only thing I don't like about the Sparrow is it's so delicate and I have to take care to keep it away from gun fights but I love it's speed and using it with the submarine. ![]() I'm on the fence about buying a Buzzard since I already got a Sparrow. If you play a lot, then I think spending two hours to buy a backup helicopter is time well spent. It also depends where you are at in your GTA career and what you need to buy next. I also have another CEO helicopter that I use for just traveling when I know a mission wont require an armed helicopter right away so I have an armed Buzzard and Sparrow ready to call if I need it. You can also repair it by calling one of the other CEO vehicles (just like how you'd need to put away the Sparrow) then call the Buzzard when you need it later. You can call it to you even if it is out on the map. ![]() It's easy to call to you because the CEO menu is at the top and it'll spawn almost as close to you as the Sparrow does. If you're in CEO a lot and might need to carry passengers, then I'd recommend getting the Buzzard as a backup. If you have both the Sparrow and OPmk2, then I can see a good argument to never buying the Buzzard or any other helicopter. OPmk2 is always great to have out as your personal vehicle and you can always quickly call it to you. You have to constantly return the Sparrow to the Kosatka when doing those missions.īecause the Sparrow is so fragile you should have a backup handy. There are a lot of missions in this game where having a helicopter in the beginning is great, but then you need to drive a mission vehicle and leave the helicopter out on the map somewhere. Honestly, sometimes I blow up my Sparrow as the quick way of returning it to the sub. Personally, I hate calling out and returning the Sparrow because it is buried deeper in the menus than the CEO Buzzard. If you aren't doing those kinds of missions, then you need to be good about returning it to the Kosatka when it's not being used, both to repair and to make it available to call to you when you need it next. Flying back to the Kosatka or auto landing at your Office or Agency. It's fine if you're doing missions where you finish by taking it somewhere where it is repaired after every mission. Mine is usually smoking if I do one mission where I get shot at. The Sparrow is fragile, so keeping it out for long periods isn't great. ![]()
